Industrial PVC and UPVC Pipes (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride)

Petron Thermoplast is a Manufacturer of UPVC Pipes and Fittings that are typically made with PVC resins that are added with additives to make them more workable and to manufacture pipes and fittings. UPVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is also known as PVC and UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride). PVC is basically a rigid material in which plasticizers are used to make it soft.

These pipe fittings are the most suitable, very easy, and economical solution for the distribution of potable water supply systems.

PVC Pipes and Fittings Manufacturer:

PETRON Thermoplastic PVC and uPVC pipes have lots of excellent features, such as mechanical strength, good thermal properties, property to chemical resistance, easy installation, reasonable price, and all required sizes in agricultural piping systems which can reduce the total construction cost or installation. can help. Cost.

The various formulations obtained by adding a few suitable additives and stabilizers make PVC-U the most versatile of all plastic materials, which allows it to be adapted to a wide range of applications that involve liquids under pressure.

It represents one of the most economical solutions in the field of metal materials and thermoplastics to solve problems in the transport of corrosive chemical liquids. These also help in the treatment and distribution of water under pressure.

The main reasons for its preference are the characteristics of the resin which include:

• Good chemical resistance

• Good thermal stability

• Resistance to aging

• Strength and Durability

• Non-toxic

• Easy and lightweight to set up

• effective cost

• Maximum Flow

UPVC Ball Valve: Uses and Important Facts

It is a flow control device that uses a perforated, pivoted and hollow ball to control the liquid flowing through it. It opens only when the ball hole is in line with the flow inside and closes when it is rotated 90-degrees by the valve handle, which blocks the flow.

The closed position can be 1/4 turn counterclockwise or clockwise. UPVC Ball valves are durable, perform well even after several cycles, and are reliable, closing securely even after prolonged use.

The following are a few different types of UPVC ball valves:

Full Port:

A "full port" or more commonly known as a "full bore ball valve", is a type of large ball, so the hole in the ball is the same size as the pipeline resulting in lower friction losses. It is basically used where free flow is required, for example in pipelines that require pigging.

Low Orifice or Low Bore:

In these ball valves, the flow through the valve is a pipe size smaller than the pipe size of the valve, resulting in a flow area smaller than the pipe. Since the flow discharge remains constant and the area of the flow is equal to (A) times velocity (V), A 1 V 1 = A 2 V 2 The velocity increases with less area of flow.

V port:

A "V port ball valve" has either a 'V' shaped seat or a 'V' shaped ball. This allows for uniform percentage and even linear flow characteristics. When the valve of this port is in the closed position and then begins to open, a small end of the 'V' opens which allows steady flow control during the first steps. This type of design usually requires greater construction due to the high velocity of the fluids, which can damage a standard valve. When the machines are used correctly these are excellent control valves, providing superior leakage performance.

UPVC and PVC Materials for construction:

The following are the materials used to manufacture UPVC ball valves:

Stainless Steel

Brass

Brass

chrome

Titanium

PVC

CPVC

PFA Lined

There are also many different types of seats and seals that are used in ball valves. Each has specific applications such that they are good because of pressure, temperature and chemical compatibility.
